Do any of you guy's listen to Alex Jones? There was a guy handing out free cd's at the gun show a couple of year's ago and I watched about 15 minutes before I decided the conspiracy theories were a little far out there for me. He's a strong constitutionalist and survival minded person though and some of his point's are very good. I checked out his website a couple of times today and was wondering what some of you guy's thought about him.

Re: Alex Jones
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 10:03 AMhaven't heard of the guy... as for conspiracy theorists, I've seen enough odd things happen in history that I can't disclaim the idea that in some instances, national governments are definitely manipulated strongly by some behind-the-scenes factions with the right leverage...
However, some super duper secret club that's been around since the first tribe of cavemen, which somehow managed to retain it's power and code of ethics and secrecy, which ALSO somehow has decided a thousand years ago, how the world was going to play out today and for the next millenium?
Don't be stupid. even IF such a club existed, it would just be one other government in the world, and even if it is a MASTER government over all the other governments, it is still just a government. It is still comprised of greedy, dumbass, fallible humans... And just like any other government (and religion, culture, or belief system, for that matter), it would have lost it's roots to the point of senility, or toppled under crushing greed a long, long time ago. -

Thu, March 20, 2008 - 12:21 PMUnless that is what the aliens want you to think...hehe..
I have met Alex Jones..he is from Austin and I met him at the gun show once..we have a gun show every 3rd weekend of the month. He charges too much for those videos though... I have watched a couple..about the Bohemian Society and whatnot...pretty interesting to see global elites like Bush Sr. walking around in robes and praying to owls... I shook Alex's hand and got a video he seemed like a normal guy..he does go into rants on his talkshow (radio and tv)...he's like the rush limbaugh of libertarianism/consipiracy theories. He's pretty well respected in the media world he's been on some big time shows...cnn fox nbc etc etc..he's always taking it to the man interupting live camera crews and asking his own questions...or taking his own camera crew and filming what others will not or have been asked not to film (by the goverment).
Don't take my word for it check him out and make your own decision www.infowars.com/ -

Fri, March 21, 2008 - 10:04 PMI like the way Alex jones urges people to prepare and to take care of themselves. More people should get behind him when he cover's stories when the cop's cross that constitution line. -

Re: Alex Jones
Mon, March 24, 2008 - 7:08 PMI agree. People need to stand up and report what is happening. The cops are only doing what they are told. It's the higher ups that need questioning. -

Re: Alex Jones
Mon, March 24, 2008 - 8:33 PMyea.... the cop who threatened me and my wife at gunpoint and using abusive foul language in indianna was just doing what he was told... I'm sure that's standard procedure for a totally compliant civillian after a minor traffic infraction.
organizations, churches, governments, corporations, clubs, they adopt the ethics of their leaders and it trickles down from there, generally. For good OR for bad... and our government is rotten all the way through on the upper ranks, and I'm not targeting the whitehouse specifically at all. -

Re: Alex Jones
Sat, March 29, 2008 - 1:57 AMmy sister was driving in the rain in flagstaff one night when a cop was directing traffic at an intersection with a flashlight. In the dark and rain she couldnt tell if he was waving her ahead or not. So she eased up a little further and the cowardly little bastard drew his gun and threatened to shoot her for misunderstanding his flash light signal's. His exact word's " If you dont stop now, I will shoot you" After she came home crying and scared to death Her husband called the police station to complain but they pretended not to know who was working that intersection and since they didnt have his badge number they couldnt do anything about it.
Being shot for misunderstanding flash light signal's while the fair is closing down sure does seem extreme. A guy like that has no business being a cop.

Re: Alex Jones
Mon, March 31, 2008 - 8:58 PMI think I feel like a gullible idiot for buying into this bollocks... On the other hand, I really feel in my gut like this REX84 thing is true, as well as a number of other impending scenarios which I wrestle with, as a big part of me says they are impossible in this country. I'll admit flat out. It's absolutely terrifying.
