You live in a semi-shitty borough of a major American city. When Corporate Whitey wastes the prez at a press conference in Atlanta, your city goes up in a flames like a haybarn in a lightning storm. It's Rodney King times 50. Race war. You are white, like me. Or light-skinned. Or wealthy. Or you have a really nice car and house. Forget politics, it's a fight for your life. Cars are burning in the street, right outside your house. The neighbors - one is dead on the lawn, one is running down the street on fire, one is getting beaten with a lawn chair in your driveway. One is getting capped in the knees. Gangbangers are closing in on your house from all sides. What is your defense? Your offense? Do you hole up or bug out? How much damage do you do? How much damage can you take? Remember: This is America. We're all free to do whatever we want to each other once the cops loot Wal Mart. Wake up and smell the smoke. The war is on.

Mon, August 24, 2009 - 1:10 PMI would try to stay away from the down town area and all the shopping malls. I am almost certain that gangbangers are going to be there, looting, pillaging and raping. The rioters are going to go to lake Merrit and Berkeley among other places to beat up white people. The cops will be too busy protecting THEMSELVES to protect innnocent civillians. They wont be able to implement an effective enough game plan. I would travel the crazy city trying to go to areas where my loved ones are and gather them. I will help as many of you white people along the way as I can. Gangs are not likeley going to be in the residential neighborhoods right away when there are so many STORES to pillage first. My neighborhood is full of crazy homeowners just itching to use their guns on burglars and stuff. That will add to the mayhem.
From my own experience, The group that is the most angry and agressive, and willing to do violence, is the one with the upperhand.

First off I would secure my cul de sac. No one comes in or out that doesn't live there. Try to get in and I light your car up. I have the firepower to arm the entire cul de sac, and the ammo to keep up an extended firefight. That and we have two cops in the hood.
One consideration is that the middle class is more affluent than the ghetto. The MC has better toys, more guns, and spent the money to shoot them enough to be competant with them. Ghetto dwellers have few guns, shitty cars, and rarely could afford to go shooting. While they may have a few criminals among their rates, the middle class has a lot of veterans.
It would be unlikely in AZ. If Obama were wacked, there are all of 5 blacks to protest (not counting the growing ethiopian community.) What happened in the PRK after the Rodney King trial was the result of a disarmed society. In fact the whole thing was pretty fucking stupid. Rodney leads police on a high speed chase then moons them (then acts surprised that they beat his ass severely.) Then in the trial the guy who wrote the policy on use of force for LAPD testifies that it was excessive force (he literally wrote the book!) and the jury finds the officers not guilty. Then Blacks go on a rampage and mostly burn down their own neighborhoods. Then during a follow up trial the guys who were video taped hitting a trucker with a brick were able to successfully dissuade the jury from a confession (despite video taping of the perp dancing after using the brick.)
All in all, you would have to be high to live in California.

Mon, October 5, 2009 - 3:21 PMbeen through this , watched the flames , smelled the smoke , sirens going for 3 days straight , it was called the 60 s ...........so what you describe is old hat ......... but at the same time ................ almost half of this population has no clue what happened and the Rod King / LA riots in 1992 .......well most of you were in diapers ........... IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN .......... IT HAS BEEN GOING ON .............. Timmy's dad stood inside his front door with his rifle as " they " turned over a cop car and set it on fire ..... about 75 feet away ............ this was 15 blocks from my house .......we were not allowed to ride our bikes down there to watch " them " burn the city down ....... since i am a free market capitalist i live in a nicer area .......... will have to travel for target practice
