Free Batteries
Sun, February 24, 2008 - 2:41 PMFree AA and AAA batteries? Ask one hour photo counters for the processed shells of disposable cameras. The batteries have only been used for 24 flashes and often have a lot of juice left in them. They would rather give them to someone to use than throw them out, because usually they aren't recycled. Shuck 'em like oysters! -

Re: Free Batteries
Sun, February 24, 2008 - 3:24 PMI was able to pick up several gel-cell 6 volts, they are often used as backup power supplies in the security systems I work on. They are also commonly used in those little electric scooters you see kids on the sidewalks in the summer. Pretty strong, long lasting batteries. I got about twenty of them new, just sittin around waiting for me to figure out a use for them.
